Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Lewis Brass.

The stopper joins the Bluebirds on a one-year contract for the 2022-23 season.

Brass, who won the 2019-20 JD Cymru Premier title with Connah’s Quay Nomads, has also represented the likes of Carlisle United, Gateshead, Caernarfon Town and Bangor City.

The 25-year-old comes into the squad to join fellow keepers Zac Jones and Josh Legrice, and will help to provide healthy competition for the number one jersey.

Formerly of the youth setups at Darlington and Carlisle United, Brass makes his return to Wales’ top-flight league after a year away, having departed the Cofis last summer.

An imposing presence in between the sticks, Brass was an integral part of the Nomads side that lifted the Cymru Premier title two years ago, with his performances proving vital to helping the Deeside outfit keep so many clean sheets on their way to glory.

He also has a Nathaniel MG Cup victory to his name, with the Nomads lifting the trophy in February 2020. Brass was a starter in the final at Latham Park, which saw Nomads run out 3-0 winners over STM Sports.

We are looking forward to welcoming Lewis into the club for next season, and we’re excited to see how he brings his winning mentality to the group as we aim to build on last season.
