Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to confirm the signing of Lee Jenkins on a one-year deal.

The 20-year-old defender joins the Bluebirds after departing fellow JD Cymru Premier side Aberystwyth Town.

Having come through the academy setup at Park Avenue, Jenkins soon earned a regular starting place in the Seasiders defence, making 22 appearances in his debut season in the JD Cymru Premier in 2019-20.

A commanding presence in the air, Jenkins has demonstrated his ability to be a potent weapon in both boxes, whether it is defending or attacking set-pieces.

Since making his top-flight debut three years ago, he has featured a further 54 times in the Cymru Premier, establishing himself as one of the league’s most exciting young talents.

Jenkins joins a Bluebirds defensive stable which includes captain Dylan Rees, Jazz Richards, Kyle Patten, Ioan Evans, Rhys Abbruzzese, Ryan George, Elliot Scotcher and Iori Humphreys.

The youngster was an integral part of an Aber defence which kept three clean sheets against the Bluebirds last season.

Jenkins becomes our sixth signing of the summer window, following Lewis Brass, Abbruzzese, Evans, former teammate Jamie Veale and Jordan Davies in putting to pen to paper with the club.
