Haverfordwest County return to the Ogi Bridge Meadow for the first time in 48 days when we host Pen-y-Bont in the JD Cymru Premier on Friday evening.

The Bluebirds last played in front of our home supporters on December 11, when we battled to earn a point from a 0-0 draw with Bala Town.

Since then, we have been on the road for back-to-back away matches against Connah’s Quay Nomads and Newtown, which ended in a 1-0 defeat and a 1-1 draw respectively.

Bont have had an impressive season to date, as they currently sit fourth in the table with three victories from their last five outings.

The Bridgend outfit, who are managed by former County player Rhys Griffiths, ran out 4-0 winners against Aberystwyth Town at the SDM Glass Stadium last Friday, with striker Ben Ahmun netting a first-half hat-trick.

In the previous meeting between the sides back in October, the Bluebirds were edged out 2-1, with Alhagi Touray Sisay’s late goal not enough to cancel second-half strikes from Nathan Wood and Billy Borge.

A victory for County would see them leapfrog Barry Town United into ninth place, with the Linnets not in action until Saturday afternoon when they travel to Deeside to face Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Key man: Sam Snaith – The striker has been in impressive form for Bont this season, netting seven goals as he formed a dangerous partnership with James Waite, who recently departed the club to join Newport County. This tally is enough to see him placed seventh on the list of Cymru Premier top scorers, and the Bluebirds defence will need to be at their best to keep the 21-year-old at bay.

To avoid queueing on the night, you can purchase tickets for the game from our online club shop.
