Haverfordwest County make the journey north to take on Flint Town United in the JD Cymru Premier this Saturday (December 4), as league action resumes following a break for the Nathaniel MG Cup semi-finals.

The Bluebirds were last in action a fortnight ago, when they were edged out 2-1 by Caernarfon Town in a competitive encounter at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.

Tomorrow’s opposition have had an impressive season to date, currently occupying second place with 26 points having won eight of their 14 games so far.

They did taste defeat in their previous outing, however, going down 3-1 to Bala Town at Maes Tegid, with Jack Kenny netting their only goal.

Despite the sides having contrasting campaigns so far, the Bluebirds came out on top when the teams met at the Ogi Bridge Meadow back in September, with Alhagi Touray Sisay’s brace giving County all three points with their first league victory of the season.

The Bluebirds’ solitary victory in the four meetings between the teams last season was the 2-0 success at the Essity Stadium in October 2020, thanks to goals from Jack Wilson and Danny Williams.

A win for Wayne Jones’ side could see them move ahead of Aberystwyth Town into 9th place, while a draw could also see them move up a position if the Seasiders lose by four or more goals against Connah’s Quay Nomads this evening.
