Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce plans to open a pop-up shop in Haverfordwest Town Centre between July and October.

The shop, which is Part 2 of Project Bluebirds and follows the installation of the new LED floodlights last week, is located near to County Sports and opposite Carphone Warehouse, and will act as a one-stop-shop for our fans and the community to access all things football and the Bluebirds in one place.

In recent years, the club has made significant strides to become more visible in the town centre, and this latest move will help to increase our presence as we aim to connect more with the local community.

The centre, which will be run in conjunction with Business In Focus – a social enterprise that supports Welsh businesses to start-up and grow – will act as a place for local people to drop in to to learn more about our community initiatives, as well as being somewhere that can host recruitment drives for volunteers and launches for new projects.

Members of staff will be present in the building on various days throughout the week, providing an accessibility to supporters and general stakeholders of the club.

Business networking events will also be able to take place at the new hub, while the Achieve More Training apprenticeship programme – which is run out of the Bluebirds Suite at the Ogi Bridge Meadow – will take advantage of the space to hold recruitment sessions.

The club are opening up a competition to decide the name for the shop, with the winner also claiming next season’s home shirt. Details of this can be found on our social media channels.
