Haverfordwest County will begin the 2022-23 JD Cymru Premier season at home to Caernarfon Town.

The club’s third consecutive campaign in Wales’ top-flight league gets underway with a 2.30pm kick-off against last season’s Play-Off winners at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.

The league has a slightly earlier start date this time around because of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which is the first to be held during the winter. Action will pause between November 20 and December 1, with all three of Wales’ Group B fixtures taking place during this period, before we resume with a home game against last season’s JD Welsh Cup runners-up, Penybont, on December 2.

The Bluebirds will take on newly-promoted sides Airbus UK Broughton and Pontypridd United at home on August 27 and December 31 respectively, with the away matches scheduled for November 19 and December 26.

We will bring Phase One of the season to a close with a home game against two-time champions Connah’s Quay Nomads on January 7. All six matches will kick-off at 2.30pm.
