The Bluebirds travel to Cardiff on Tuesday (20th) to face Cardiff Met for a 7.45pm kick off.

Last Time Out

The Bluebirds faced their heaviest defeat of the season at the hands of Newtown on the weekend. Ofori and Mwandwe scored within in a minute of each other to put the Bluebirds two goals behind inside of 30 minutes. Shane Sutton headed home from a corner just before half time to give the Bluebirds a mountain to climb in the second half. Despite a bright County start, it was the Robins who scored again as Mwandwe raced away on the break and rounded Gajda for the fourth. Corey Shephard pulled one back for the Bluebirds, by lobbing the Newtown keeper from the halfway line, but Evans scored with 5 minutes to go to make it 5-1.

Cardiff Met secured their first win since the start of December as they beat Cefn Druids. Elliot Evans opened the scoring for Met before Ryan Kershaw sent a free kick into the back of the net just ten minutes later. Matt Chubb scored from a corner in the second half to secure all three points for the Archers.

The Reverse Fixtures

There have been few goals this season between these two sides. The Bluebirds last travelled to Met for the opening game of the season, where a 0-0 draw was played out. The Bluebirds also played Met at the start of the latest restart, where a Danny Williams penalty was all that separated the sides.

The Table

After the weekend results, the Bluebirds remain top of the Play-Off Conference, 5 points clear of Newtown. Cardiff Met sit one from bottom, on 21 points.
