Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce that Iori Humphreys has signed his first professional contract with the club.

A product of the Bluebirds academy, the youngster has been a regular member of the first team squad this season.

The 18-year-old made his debut from the bench in the Nathaniel MG Cup victory over Undy Athletic in September, replacing Kieran Lewis after 50 minutes.

Since then the midfielder, who can also play across the defensive line, has been involved in a further 14 matchday squads in the JD Cymru Premier, JD Welsh Cup and Nathaniel MG Cup.

Humphreys showed his maturity and ability to step up when he replaced Alaric Jones in the first-half of the JD Welsh Cup fifth round tie away at JD Cymru North leaders Airbus UK Broughton.

In a physical contest, he stood up to the challenge and turned in a very impressive display as the Bluebirds eventually ran out 2-1 winners in Flintshire.

He will now have the opportunity to continue his development under new manager Nicky Hayen, with his professional attitude and approach standing him in good stead for the future.
