Haverfordwest County scored five goals in a routine victory over Undy Athletic which sees them move into the quarter-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup.

The Bluebirds turned on the style for the 300 supporters in attendance at the Ogi Bridge Meadow, creating opportunities throughout the 90 minutes in a dominant display.

Alhagi Touray Sisay netted a brace for the second time in four days, with the striker having far too much quality for his opposing defenders.

Mason Jones-Thomas and Danny Williams – who was making his first start since re-joining the Bluebirds – also got on the scoresheet, with Undy captain Gyles Thompson turning Jack Wilson’s effort into the back of his own net.

It was a perfect evening for Wayne Jones’ side, which was topped off by the sight of youngster Iori Humphreys replacing Kieran Lewis after 50 minutes – and not looking out of place in a rampant Bluebirds side.

After peppering the Undy goal in the opening stages, the Bluebirds eventually took the lead when Jones-Thomas – on his return to the starting line-up – picked the ball up and advanced to the edge of the penalty area before firing into the bottom left corner.

It took just three minutes for the second goal to arrive. The hosts quickly turned defence into attack, freeing Wilson to sprint down the right flank before squaring the ball to Touray Sisay, who swept home from close range.

The Spanish striker made it 3-0 just two minutes into the second-half when his powerful effort from the edge of the area found the back of the net to take his tally to four goals in his last two matches.

Jones’ side continued to push for more goals, and Wilson’s perseverance brought the fourth as he found space inside the penalty box and saw his cross-cum-shot deflect off Thompson and into the net.

Having had numerous opportunities to score, Williams finally did so with 15 minutes remaining when he was freed inside the area and fired under goalkeeper Burden.
