The club are delighted to have appointed two new Board members. Mared Pemberton and Lyndon Roberts will join the clubs Board with immediate effect.

For the past 11 years, Mared has worked in the public sector on a number of regeneration programmes particularly focussing on economic growth and community development.  She has a keen sporting interest and a passion for how sport can be used for wider social benefit. Mared hopes to support the club with its ambition of further community integration.

Lyndon Roberts joins the board with experience in sport for good, inclusion and compliance, as a Director of Inclusion in Sport. He has worked with numerous Premier League and EFL clubs on compliance and Governance frameworks over the last 5 years, such as Leicester City, Aston Villa, West Ham and Brighton and Hove Albion. Lyndon currently sits on the Board of a wildlife conservation trust in India and has previous experience as board member at Worcester City FC.

Chairman Rob Edwards stated “I am delighted to welcome both to the club as we look to assemble a Board to take us further, and to assist me with what will be a big year for the club. Both have very relevant key skillsets that the club can take advantage of. Above that, they are good people and football people. With Julian Furne and Darren Browne now active on the Board, we have a great team running the club.”

The club are likely to announce additional appointments over the coming weeks as we get closer to the start of the new season.
