Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to confirm that Alhagi Touray Sisay has signed a contract extension with the club until the end of the current season.

The striker joined the Bluebirds on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Grimsby Town, and has enjoyed a positive start to his time at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.

After impressing in his first couple of outings, albeit without finding the net, the 21-year-old got off the mark with a brace in the 2-0 win over high-flying Flint Town United in the JD Cymru Premier.

Since then, Touray Sisay has grown in confidence, and his predatory instincts in front of goal have been clear for all to see.

He netted a second brace in as many games in the 5-0 win against Undy Athletic in the Nathaniel MG Cup, before popping up to score a dramatic late winner away to Airbus UK Broughton in the JD Welsh Cup.

Commenting on the news, manager Wayne Jones said: “It’s great news for us as a club. Alhagi is really starting to find his feet, and he’s beginning to strike up a good partnership with Ben Fawcett, with both players contributing plenty of goals already.

“Alhagi is 21 and has a lot of potential, but most importantly he wants to learn and develop, and he feels he is at the right club to do so!”
